WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Joe Biden delivered a powerful and historic address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, outlining his vision for the nation and warning of the threats facing American democracy.

"We must finish the work of racial justice," he said. "We must root out systemic racism from our laws, our institutions, and our hearts."
The President concluded his speech by calling for unity and a renewed commitment to democracy.
"This is our moment to rise to the occasion," he said. "This is our moment to prove that democracy is still the best way forward."
